Then we have the perfect program for you!
Fire Service Exploring is a worksite-based program for young men and women who are between the age of 14 and 20 years old. Fire Service Explorer posts helps youth gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities for young men and women who are interested in careers in the field of fire service. Exploring offers experiential learning with lots of fun filled hands-on activities. This helps to promote the growth and development of adolescent youth.
The New Britain Fire Explorers Post is a program sponsored by our Department and the Boy Scouts of America. To become a New Britain Fire Explorer you must reside in the City of New Britain. The meetings are held twice a month, the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the New Britain Training Division, 915 Stanley Street, the lower section adjacent to Station 5/Engine 5.
